I did a locum last Saturday at a pharmacy not too far from home. I was there is plenty of time so I could re-acquaint myself with the systems and staff since my last visit and sign in as RP.

I attended the SMaRT awards last week. These are the awards given to manufacturers providing training initiatives and training and support programmes to pharmacy teams, SMaRT being the acronym for Sales, Marketing and Retail training.

Ours is a very modern family which just means it is complicated by divorces and remarriages and the multiple grandparents phenomena. It does manage to encompass the whole of the British Isles as we have Welsh, English, Scottish and Irish members and since the marriage of the eldest daughter to a Frenchman it is becoming positively European.  Of course we all live in harmony until a sporting event divides us neatly into warring camps.   This weekend saw the start of the Six Nations  rugby championship and as far as I am concerned it was practically perfect.
