Baseline service specifications for Enhanced Services have been developed by PSNC using experience from existing locally negotiated services. LPCs will be working closely with local commissioners in order that contractors can provide services in accordance with these specifications where a local need for a service is identified and benefits evidenced. Alternatively LPCs or the PCT will be free to develop their own local services in response to assessed needs.
